Project Overview: Camila Cabello 2019 Album Pop-Up Experiences

I contributed to the strategic planning and design of multiple pop-up experiences to celebrate the launch of Camila Cabello's 2019 album. Over the course of three months, we crafted unique and immersive activations to surprise and engage her fans in Los Angeles.

Pain Point

Fans sought more immersive and engaging ways to connect with Camila Cabello’s music, while the marketing team needed creative experiences that would boost album visibility, merchandise sales, and social engagement.

Process

Over three months, contributed to the strategic planning, concepting, and design of multiple pop-up activations across Los Angeles. Developed cohesive design strategies that reflected the album’s themes, provided art direction, created graphics, and collaborated on 3D modeling of physical spaces. Worked closely with marketing to align activations with campaign goals, ensuring each experience was immersive, shareable, and memorable.

Outcome

Delivered branded experiences including a pop-up merchandise store, an ice cream truck, and an immersive “Liar”-inspired art installation. Activations drove a 20% increase in brand awareness, 15% growth in merchandise sales, a 50% increase in fan engagement, and 1.5 million live stream views. The experiences strengthened fan connection, created viral social media moments, and elevated album promotion.
